Tour Details

Ama Dablam soaring at 6,812m is one of the most beautiful and appealing mountains in the Khumbu Region of Nepal. It is also called “Matterhorn of the Himalayas”. It has peculiar ridges and steep faces like Matterhorn. There is a glacier hanging to the southwest face of Ama Dablam. It resembles a traditional double pendant, an ornament worn by Sherpa women. The long ridges on each side of the mountain look like the arms of a mother (AMA) protecting her beloved child. These peculiar features gave this mountain a name AMA DABLAM means “Mother’s Necklace”.

The Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek leads the trails to the ancient Sherpa villages. The amazing landscape and ancient monasteries add up the spice on our journey. The pathway to these diverse cultures and scenic destinations makes our experience great.
