Donation Program with Tanja (Our Pyari Didi)

The new year started with an amazing social journey to the remote village of Nepal. The charity hand from Germany, Tanja and her team had a pre-plan scheduled to visit Nepal in 2020. Their motive was to donate clothes and other basic things to the needy poor & people here in Nepal. We, Lets Trip Nepal collaborate with them and organized a small event in a remote village called Maji Gaon. This village is situated east side of Kathmandu around 180 km away. Despite its proximity to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, the people living here have a low economic background. Most of the youth are in Kathmandu or the middle east countries for job opportunities. In spite of such privilege, the community hasn’t been able to uplift their economic and social status.

In the first week of January, we went to the Maji Gaon (village) carrying some bundles of clothing products (warm sweaters, hand gloves, socks, etc). The primary objective was to distribute those things among old peoples and small children. Most of the people were wearing thin clothes just covering their bodies. They were shivering because of the cold. Our small help was a great relief for those poor people. They were very happy to get those clothes. They were grateful for the event and happy to wear those clothes.

Little Effort, Greater Impacts

The government school provides books and cloths once a year but it’s not enough. The small children have to work hard to get little money for buying stationery materials (notebook, pencil, pen, etc) and other needy things.

We, Lets Trip Nepal Adventure express our sincere thanks for Tanja didi and her team for their great support. This charity has helped people and children to face this year as well as next year’s winter with ease. We wish people don’t have to die because of poverty. Our hope sheer help and foreign aid will able to bring smiles on the faces of people.
